After completing the Music Research Project, the class has transitioned to the Music Opening and Blogging project. This project is highly intriguing and consist of a two minute fictional film opening, as well as several blog post's weekly, for a nine week basis. To the opposite of what I thought, I am really looking forward to completing this. I feel like the project will allow me to use my creativity and unique side of thinking. As far as processing goes, this portfolio allows for a different way of laying out and explaining what you want to do. Participating and expressing my feelings through my blogs.

For this upcoming project, I am looking forward to character development, as well as story building. I have yet to select or determine if I am working solo or with a partner but I do have several ideas. I have multiple thoughts in my head and think it will be interesting to see what the ending product becomes. My first film idea was to open with a teen party scene that includes many nicely shot clips with high quality editing. The opening would be well structured and a more cinematically focused piece. Another thought is a horror film opening. The opening would have a drawn out script as well as a complex storyline that brings the fear factor.

The blog portion of the film opening assignment would be the most enjoyable portion to me. I feel like expressing my emotions and way of thinking while completing this will be exciting. I would like to be able to successfully lay out a plan and discuss that plan during the duration of the project. Since this project has a long length of time before its due date, it is essential to highlight the key elements and make sure everything is done to my best ability.
